HQ has been resurrected and restored in
just less than two months after the app was shut down. The co-founder of HQ Trivia, Rus Yusupov, confirms the
return of the game in a notice compiled in a Tweet. The co-founder of HQ
Trivia, Rus Yusupov, has released a press notice which was allowing the gamers
of HQ Trivia to understand the new game of HQ Trivia, which will go online at 9
PM. Meanwhile, the company has confirmed officially that the match has back,
and the recent launch is not only even. According to a close source of the company, it has been revealed that the company
will air more episodes of the game in the future, and all the games will be
aired regularly. A private investor has acquired the company, and it was
instructed that the name of the individual investor not to be mentioned.
The co-founder of the company Rus Yusupov sent a note to the employees and said that the company is going to cease its operations, laying off about 25 employees. Further, the company mentioned in the letter that an established business firm offered to acquire the company. Still, the potential acquirer changed their plans suddenly, which led the company to cease its operations. The app of HQ Trivia was launched in November in the year 2017. HQ Trivia app became a massive hit among the fans in very little time just due to its popular host Scott Rogowsky and the real cash prizes. But over the time, the game started losing its popularity among the fans, and the popular host of the game Rogowsky also left the game announcing that he will remain busy in hosting a show of baseball on DAZN, sports streaming broadcast service.
However, the company tried its best to keep the fans and people engaged with the games of HQ Trivia by introducing a variety of ideas, but all goes in vain. To keep the viewers and fans engaged with the games of the company, HQ Trivia added several new views, including an event with the cash prize of $ 10,000 and the extra lives for several games to be played in a row. In the year 2018, in its efforts to keep the HQ Trivia alive, the company introduced a game in the style of Wheel of Fortune. But, all the efforts put by the company failed to keep the fans interested in the sports and led to its shut down.
It is worth noting here that the founders of the company involved Vine, Colin Kroll, and Yusupov. Colin Kroll was the CEO of HQ who died due to the intake of a drug overdose. Yusupov informed the fans in a Tweeter post that he was continuously in negotiations with the potential company, which was willing to acquire HQ, and now everything has been settled. Now, it is expected by the people and HQ Trivia that the company will go through some modifications in the coming time, including cowl bills, etc. Amidst all, the co-founder, Yusupov, also informed the fans that the game going to be released today would have the element addressing the ongoing health issue outbreak all across the world.
