Google Working on New Chromecast Ultra based on Android TV

Google may launch the second-generation Chromecast Ultra device very soon, which will be based on Android TV. The news has been revealed by a reliable source familiar with the plans of the company regarding the launching of the new device. According to some reliable sources, the new device will be a dongle that may look similar to the new form factor along with any additional hardware. The hardware added to the second generation Chromecast Ultra is an external remote. The second-generation Chromecast Ultra will be named as Sabrina and will support the content of 4K HDR.

According to the reliable source, the external remote resembling a cross between an Apple TV remote and the Daydream View remote will be capable of exercising control over the device. It has also been revealed that the external remote will have the dedicated button to control the content you are providing with your voice along with a Microphone. The new device will have the Wi-Fi connectivity along with the Chromecast Bluetooth, and the remote will also be configurable on your TV. Meanwhile, Janko Roettgers of Protocol spotted and found that the external remote has likely passed through the FCC. Amidst all, The fans who are eager to know the details of the second-generation Chromecast Ultra have been told that the device resembling the Chromecast of 3rd generation will have the rounder and softer fish, and it has the design of typical G shape.
The new device, along with a connector of HDMI very much similar to the latest  Chromecast Ultra, is very much in line with the current hardware of Google in design. The long-awaited device i.e., the dongle, will help the users to get access to several apps, including Hulu, Netflix, Disney+, YouTube, and many other services. It is not surprising that Google is planning to introduce the second generation Chromecast Ultra which will be based on Android TV as the tech giant has already launched the developer kits, which are similar in functionality.
